Music label Tips Industries Ltd reported a 10.4% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit, reaching Rs 53.1 crore for Q2 FY26, up from Rs 48.1 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s revenue grew 11% YoY to Rs 89.22 crore in the September 2025 quarter, driven by strong demand for music streaming and content licensing. Over the past 10 quarters, Tips Music has recorded cumulative revenue of Rs 729.6 crore and total profit of Rs 392.3 crore, reflecting steady growth in its digital content business.
Operating performance also strengthened, with EBITDA rising 14% to Rs 67.8 crore, while the EBITDA margin expanded 220 basis points to 76%, compared to 73.8% in Q2 FY25.
Advertising costs saw a sharp increase of 87.5% to Rs 6 crore, up from Rs 3.2 crore a year ago, highlighting the company’s intensified promotional activities and digital visibility initiatives. Tips Music’s advertising expenditure growth aligns with the broader expansion of India’s digital ad industry, which reached Rs 49,251 crore in 2024, up from Rs 40,685 crore in 2023, and is projected to grow at a 19% CAGR.
Social media (29%) and online video (28%) continue to dominate digital ad spend, both expected to grow at over 20% CAGR through 2026, creating favorable conditions for content-driven firms like Tips Music.
