Santy Sharma Appointed Music Director And Composer For Dubai-Based Reality Show

Indian rapper, singer and composer Santy Sharma has been signed on as the music composer and director for an upcoming dance and music reality show that will be filmed entirely in Dubai. The show is scheduled to go on floors in April, with details regarding its title, judges, locations and release timeline yet to be announced.

What sets the project apart is its music-first format, with contestants competing exclusively using original compositions rather than covers. Unlike conventional talent reality shows, the focus will be on creating, performing and presenting authentic original music. At the end of the competition, each finalist’s track will be professionally re-recorded in their own voice and released as an official musical single, offering participants a tangible launchpad into the music industry.

Santy Sharma will oversee the show’s complete musical framework, including composition, lyrics, music direction and recording. He will also mentor contestants on professional music production practices, guiding them through both the creative and technical aspects of making industry-ready music.

According to sources close to the production, Sharma’s creative vision and hands-on experience are expected to shape the show’s sonic identity, bringing a contemporary and professionally grounded sound to the format.

Santy Sharma first gained widespread attention with his rap performance in the Bollywood anthem ‘Housefull 5’ and has since released over 20 original tracks on his YouTube channel. He recently debuted his first album, ‘Reborn’, featuring eight original songs.

In addition to the reality show, Sharma is also set to compose music for an upcoming Gujarati feature film, details of which are yet to be revealed. Hailing from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, Santy Sharma is recognised as the first rapper from the city to achieve national visibility and continues to inspire emerging independent artists across the country.
